Prabal Gurung - "beauty is much more then skin deep"

The Nepalese-American designer, who has dressed fashion elite like Michelle Obama and Diane Kruger, says he found his inspiration for his opulent new MAC collaboration from someone near and dear to his heart – his mother. “My first foray into fashion was through beauty, I would watch my mother put on her makeup, not understanding what it was but being mesmerized by the beauty of it.” Gurung’s limited-edition line features 14 products in total, and they are truly mesmerizing. There are three lipsticks – Light, English Red, Carmine Rouge and Ultramarine Pink, three ‘lipglasses’ in the same shades, and beautiful eyeshadow and blush compacts in luxuriously decadent, gilt compacts in rich, saturated hues of gold, coral, and grey. “I wanted the packaging to do the speaking,” he said, adding that he wants anyone pulling out a lipstick or powder at the end of the night to feel good about their makeup. “That’s extremely important for me, I think whatever we do, beauty fashion or art should be able to inspire in a big – or small – way,” he said.

Helen Mirren is the newest U.K. brand ambassador for L'Oréal Paris, and we have to say, Dame Helen is looking more beautiful than ever. She has partnered with the brand for a campaign centered on the notion that true beauty is ageless. Shots show a smiling Mirren—her appearance untouched by Photoshop and other fancy enhancement tools—posing in a simple black pantsuit. The Oscar winner looks fresh-faced and at ease in the photos, which may speak to her natural grace and confidence. Her makeup is pretty but understated (we can spot eyeliner, mascara and a soft pink lip).

ROGUE AND ROGUE MAN by RIHANNA

September 2013 Rihanna presented ROGUE, her fourth fragrance for women. “People are always changing and evolving and with Rogue I wanted to switch it up to reflect who I am today,” said Rihanna. “I made it for all women, for every mood, because we all want to project our true selves.” The fragrance is announced as a flirtatious and sensual oriental, containing accords of lemon blossom, cyclamen, jasmine, rose, plum and suede over a base of musk, woods, patchouli, vanilla and amber.

ROGUE MAN made it's debut this September 2014. This is Rihanna's first fragrance for men. The perfume was developed by Frank Voelkl as an oriental - woody. In the top notes there are bergamot, clementine, black pepper and rosemary. The heart consists of cedar, jasmine, vanilla orchid and labdanum, leaning on the base of sandalwood, patchouli, amber, musk and tonka bean. Rogue Man made it's debut this September 2014. Its advertising campaign shows the singer and a tattooed model. Rihanna posted on on twitter: "Ladies! This September wake up next to your man smelling like this! Makes you wanna steal his T-shirts."
