A photographic commission – Donut, Kym – for Vivienne Westwood’s On Liberty collection 1994, made for Vivienne Westwood by Dutch duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, used in a calendar and advertising campaign of brand, will be sold for £12,000-15,000 – along with other works created by celebrated photographers – during the first auction of Bohams’ new photography department which will be held in London, at New Bond Street on 20th May 2010.

Gordon Munro and I were doing test shots of this model (sorry I can't remember her name) and Gordon thought it would be cool to put me in the shot with this vintage lighter he had at the studio. I didn't smoke but gave my best James Dean look and I think it worked.

Long Live McQueen

Here sandals wreathed in gilded roses matched the salon's ornate decoration, while the mirrors reflected the models' golden feather Mohawks. The intense workmanship was of couture quality, which is the way Mr. McQueen had been moving his signature line.
