When I arrived at her beautiful home, who should answer the door but her handsome husband, Robert Wagner, himself. He lead me upstairs to her bedroom suite and asked me to wait for Natalie. I waited and waited until finally she came into the room, with her hair in curlers and a full face of makeup on. Needless to say I was surprised and disappointed. But I remember how many of the stars of the silver screen were such pros and felt more secure doing their own makeup.
So off we went in the limo to the photo studio. On the way we got to chat a bit and share a couple laughs together. By the time we arrived I had convinced her to let me add some of my special touches to her lovely face and shake her curls out into a soft hairstyle. She was very comfortable in front of the camera and it didn't take long for Gary to get the perfect shot and make the client happy.
Ms.Wood was so dear and down to earth and it was such a pleasure to work with her. Sadly it wasn't long before we lost Natalie to that terrible tragedy. I truly believe it was an accident. As I could sense the love was real between her and Robert, even during the short time we all were together,
