Adam Lambert Update........

"American Idol" alum Adam Lambert is heading to the other side of the judges' panel.

The singer, along with Avril Lavigne and Colbie Caillat, has been added to the roster of artists who will be mentoring wannabe singers on The Hub's "Majors & Minors" competion, which kicks off Sept. 23.

Brandy, Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Sean Kingston, and One Republic's Ryan Tedder have already signed on to be "majors" to the young, up-and-coming "minors."

The 12 contestants on "Majors & Minors" range in age from 10 to 16-years-old. The winner will score a record deal and a U.S. tour.

"Majors & Minors" was developed by Evan "Kidd" Bogart, who has written songs for Rihanna and Beyonce, and will be produced by Boardwalk Entertainment Group with Sony's RCA/Jive and BMI.
